Lake to River’s CEO leads the organization’s strategic mission to attract investment, strengthen communities and drive economic growth across Ashtabula, Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties. A nationally recognized nonprofit leader and governance strategist, Dani’s background includes more than two decades of executive experience in the public and nonprofit sectors.
Prior to joining Lake to River, she served as Director of Governance Strategy at BoardSource, the country’s leading organization on nonprofit board leadership. Her career spans CEO roles with Boys & Girls Clubs and domestic violence shelters in Ohio and Texas, as well as academic appointments at John Carroll University and The Ohio State University.
Originally from New York and now proud to call Ashtabula County home, Dani is passionate about building capacity, empowering leaders, and ensuring equitable access to opportunity in the communities Lake to River serves.
