Victoria “Vicki” Rusu serves as Director of Engagement & Investor Relations for Lake to River Economic Development, where she leads investor engagement, stakeholder partnerships, and relationship development efforts across Eastern Ohio.
A proud “boomerang” to the Mahoning Valley, Vicki began her career in community development with the Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation before joining Operation Smile, a global nonprofit organization serving children and families in more than 32 countries. After years of collaborating with national and international leaders, she returned home to bring those experiences and perspectives back to the region where she and her family have chosen to build their future.
Prior to joining Lake to River, Vicki served as Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives & Partnerships at BRITE Energy Innovators. She holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Youngstown State University and serves on the Board of Directors for DIVA Donations.
